Video: Apologies For Language As New Spectator Phone Rule Distracts Rory McIlroy

This new "mobile phones are allowed in the crowd" rule has worked for the most part so far on the European Tour but I'm thinking it hasn't gone down so well with the players.

Least of all Rory McIlroy who was distracted by a camera during his first round at the Scottish Open.

Apologies for the language but these guys are at work here! It's not asking much to keep the phone on silent!

Maybe the European Tour should take another look at the rule.
