Wakeland Golf runs the Gary Burns

Who says golfers can't run??  The wakeland golf team got together and entered the annual Gary burns fun run which benefits the Frisco education foundation on Saturday morning, Oct 25th.  It was the first morning in several years where we didn't have to be covered in sweats to stay warm and we were able to show off our Wakeland golf pride.  It was a successful morning as all the golfers were able to complete the 5K and give credence to the idea that golfers are in fact athletes despite what other sports would like to have you believe.
