The chase for the semi final places in all four Ayrshire handicap League sections is really lose as the qualifying matches progress to a conclusion at the end of the month.

In SECTION A, Troon St Meddans and Stewarton are neck and neck at the top of the table.

Despite suffering a narrow 3.5 - 2.5 away to Royal Troon, the St Meddans team moved to joint top after an away win, by the same score, away to Stewarton.

In the only other match completed recently, Loudoun beat their visitors from Drongan by 5 - 1.

In SECTION C, Auchenharvie remain in front, ahead of Prestwick St Cuthbert who moved into second spot following a 4 - 2 win away to Ailsa Craig.

In the other matrch played recently, Braehead and Troon Merchants fought out a 3 - 3 draw at the Dalmilling course in Ayr.
