Connie Jaffrey (Troon ladies) is through to the quarter finals of the 2017 Scottish Woman's Amateur Championship, which is being played at Royal Aberdeen this week.

In the opening round of matchplay on Thursday morning, Jaffrey beat Heather Munro (Monifieth)  by 7 & 6 and in the afternoon she clinched her place in the last eight with a 2 & 1 victory over Gillian Paton (Royal Montrose).

In Friday morning's quarter final, Connie will face Hannah McCook (Granton On Spey).

The other Ayrshire player who progressed to the matchplay rounds, Emma Hale (Troon Ladies) lost out to Kimberley Beveridge (Aboyne) by 2 & 1 in the first round.
