With Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy and Jason Day all short odds and looking to bounce back from US Open disappointment Justin Thomas seems to have been forgotten in the Win Only Market argument.  He's out at 14/1 and given that he fared best at Erin Hills with a T9 and finished T3 here last year, that looks a decent price.

Doc's Top 5 Each Way Bets At The Travelers

Brendan Steele 35/1

Top 25 in his last four visits to TPC River Highlands with a best of T5 in 2014.  Brendan has been super solid this season, has yet to miss a cut, won the wraparound Safeway Open and featured last week at Erin Hills where he finished T13 after bossing the greens. I think he'll do well this week.

Marc Leishman 30/1

Didn't happen for Marc at the US Open (T27) but he looked strong in the paddock and caught the eye of several swing experts as one to watch.  Since winning the Arnie he's been solid if unspectacular but comes to Cromwell this week as a past champion (2012)  who has been T11 and T9 since.  Big chances.

Paul Casey 22/1

Dangerous one this really with Paul Casey having the mental scarring of a weekend 75, 74 after being the 36 hole leader at the US Open.  Does he go to ground or does he push on this week? Well knowing Casey and his ability to shrug off calamity as quickly as he goes from a steely look to that awful goofy grin I'm tipping him to avenge a sloppy playoff loss here to Bubba Watson in 2015.

Webb Simpson 60/1

Webb Simpson looks the sleeper bet for me at 60/1. He has been markedly improved this year with good showing s at the RBC Heritage (T11) Players (T16) and the Dean and DeLuca (5th).  Webb was T34 at TPC River Highlands last year when it changed to a later date to accommodate the Olympics, his first time back since a T5 in 2013.  He's back in that 2013 form now and I think can sneak a place. IF the putts drop.

Charley Hoffman 35/1

Great week for Charley at the US Open with a solo 8th finish.  That came thanks to a T4 greens in regulation clip and amassing a cumulative -10 on the par-5's.  He's also the "week after a Major" player who, you just know, will be going hammer and tongs again this week to cash in while the others are flagging.  Bests of T2 here in 2012 and T7 in 2013, the Hoff gets my last spot off Tony Finau!!

Long Odds Glory Shots

Xander Schauffele is the new name we cannot pronounce on the block and he comes in brimming with confidence at 90/1 after a T5 showing at the US Open.  Smylie Kaufman has been very hit and miss of late but he contended at the Wells Fargo and Players and 125/1 seem very long odds.
