Justin Rose tops the betting at 12/1 on his homecoming after a second at The Masters and he'll be hoping to put that 80 in the final round at Sawgrass last time out behind him this week. Henrik Stenson is at 14/1 after finding some form with a T16 finish at Sawgrass.

Doc's Top 5 Best Bets At The BMW PGA Championship

Francesco Molinari 16/1

Fran is the man for Wentworth where patience and good course management are key.  Didn't figure last year but the Italian went T7, T9, T7, 5th from 2012 to 2015 here and comes in off a brilliant T6 at The Players Championship.  Super consistent this year on the PGA Tour besides and a great bet to be in the shake-up come Sunday.

Alex Noren 20/1

Might just relish being back in Europe where his gritty playing style works so well.  A tough season so far for Alex grinding on the PGA Tour took a real turn for the better at The Players where he topped the Greens in Regulation (GIR) stats on his way to a solo 10th finish. Best of T8 at Wentworth in 2014 but I expect a good showing this week.

Bernd Wiesberger 22/1

I feel like a worn out record telling people just how good Bernd Wiesberger is but I truly believe this guy is the real deal and great things await.  Winner in Shenzhen, then a T4 in China and T12 at The Players last time out is impressive stuff.  The Austrian has a mixed record on this track but still has three top 15's since 2012 and looks quality each way at 22/1

Byeong Hun An 20/1

Regular followers of my tipping posts will know that I always scan for guys who go under par cumulatively on par-3's the previous week and who did I spot going low on the short holes at the Byron Nelson only 2015 BMW PGA winner Ben An!  Ben finished T5 at TPC Four Seasons Resort and his hot putting also yielded a T8 before that at the Wells Fargo.  On a 13 event cut streak in 2017 and has a super chance this week.

Ross Fisher 40/1

Since a solo 2nd in 2009 and T10 in 2010 it seems poor old Ross has been jinxed at Wentworth with a slew of missed cuts  (MC's) since.  He also missed out on weekend action at Sawgrass. However, MC's seem to mean nothing when you look at the winners over the last few weeks and I saw plenty of good stuff already from Ross this season in a T3 and T6 in China and that T3 at WGC Mexico to warrant a place for him on my betsheet this week.

Long Odds Glory Shot

Mike Lorenzo Vera 150/1

Mike has had a great season so far on Tour with bests of a T11 in China, T7 in Malaysia and T4 in Qatar. No record at Wentworth but might be worth a quid each way.
