Boys Shine at Prosper Shootout

The Wakeland boys team took to the course on Monday, March 13th at Gentle Creek Golf club in the Prosper Shootout.  The standout of the day was

Jackson Tuthill who won his second tournament of the spring firing a 2 under par 70.  He birdied his last hole of the day as seen in the video below to clinch the win and lead our team into the winner's circle as well.  The other guys tagged along for the ride and definitely held up their end of the scoresheet as well as it was a true team effort to grab the champions trophy at Gentle Creek.  Luke Whitney, Drake Kube, and Matt Whitney all shot rounds in the 70's and the team shot their best score of the spring, a solie 302 as we continue to get the team ready to go for our district competition.
